At Fundación SuperAdaptados we work to expand opportunities for people with disabilities through movement, training, work, and innovation.
WHO WE ARE
Fundación SuperAdaptados is a non-profit organization that believes in the movement as a tool to expand possibilities.
We were born as an evolution of the Jean Maggi Foundation and today we develop various actions that integrate movement, autonomy, training, work, innovation and community.
We work alongside people with disabilities, families, companies, institutions and organizations to create opportunities that allow them to develop their abilities, participate and build new paths.
Our perspective
We believe in the capabilities of each person and in the importance of creating conditions for them to develop their potential, make decisions, participate, and build their own path.

Adapted bicycles
We design, manufacture and deliver adapted bicycles to promote movement, recreation, autonomy and participation.
Super Adaptados, the factory
Our production unit, where we manufacture adapted bicycles, provides technical services and develops training and innovation projects.
Training
We create learning spaces to develop skills, gain experience, and expand opportunities.

We promote the participation of people with disabilities in productive and technical processes, generating experiences and job opportunities.
Innovation
We develop solutions, parts, adaptations, and new products based on specific needs.

We build relationships with people, families, companies, institutions, organizations, and volunteers who share the challenge of creating more opportunities.

ADAPTED BICYCLES
A adapted bicycle can be a tool to incorporate movement into everyday life, to have fun, to share, to explore new spaces and discover new possibilities.
In Super Adaptados, we develop bicycles through a standardized production system that allows us to increase our production capacity and reach more people.
OUR MODELS
Hand-held bike with pedal control for girls
Designed for children aged between 4 and 10/12 years, depending on the characteristics of each person.
Measures:
– 1.40 m long
– 1.00 m high from the tower
– 75 cm wide
– 85 cm seat height
Hand-held bike with large pedal
Designed for people approximately 12 years old, taking into account the individual user's physical characteristics and needs.
Measures:
– 1.65 m long
– 1.10 m high from the tower
– 75 cm wide
– 85 cm high from the seat
Hand-held bike with large gears
An option designed for specific cases, especially when everyday and/or sports use requires changes.
Measures:
– 1.48 m long
– 1,oo m high of the tower
– 70 cm wide
– 80 cm high backrest
Pedal Bike
Measures:
– 1.70 m long
– 75 cm wide
– 96 cm high from the back with backrest
– 1.10 m high from the front

WHERE OPPORTUNITIES ARE ALSO CREATED
SUPER ADAPTED, THE FACTORY
Super Adaptados, the factory is the production unit of Fundación SuperAdaptados.
It is a space where adapted bicycles are manufactured, technical service is provided, and training and innovation projects are developed.
Their team is made up of people with disabilities, most of whom have motor disabilities.
Many of the people who are part of the team today began their association with the organization as beneficiaries. Over time, some joined training and work processes and today they participate in the manufacture, repair, innovation, and development of new projects.
From receiving an opportunity to generating new opportunities.
The factory combines production, training, collaborative work and innovation.
Because we believe that people with disabilities can not only use solutions: they can also design them, manufacture them, repair them, improve them, and work professionally in those processes.
How to request an adapted bicycle?
1.
Complete the application
Complete the bicycle application form through our system.
2.
We will evaluate your application
We will contact you to request your CUD and a video of approximately 20 seconds that allows us to evaluate which model is suitable for you.
3.
Wait for availability
Deliveries are made in accordance with the availability of funds from the Foundation.
4.
We assign the model and coordinate the delivery
We define the available model and coordinate the delivery with the beneficiary.
The delivery is in person and without exception.
5.
We record the delivery.
We record the delivery date and the details of the person who receives the bicycle.
6.
We accompany the process.
We carry out monitoring to check the condition of the bicycle and verify its proper use.
Important:
Bicycles are handed over on a loan basis. They cannot be sold, transferred, or given to another person.
If the bicycle is no longer used, it must be returned to the Foundation so that it can be assigned to a new beneficiary.
KEEPING MOVING IS ALSO PART OF OUR WORK
TECHNICAL SERVICE
Our Technical Service performs maintenance, repair and tuning of:
- Adapted bicycles
- Conventional bicycles
- Wheelchairs
- Other support products
Mobility Lab:
A space at Fundación Super Adaptados dedicated to the maintenance, repair and adaptation of bicycles and mobility devices. Our goal is to extend their lifespan, improve their functionality and support each person in using their equipment.

How does it work?

We coordinate a shift.
The team's entry is coordinated in advance.
2.
We evaluate the team.
Our technical team reviews its condition and determines the necessary repairs.
3.
We prepare a budget.
Before carrying out the work, the corresponding budget is reported.
4.
We performed the repair.
We carry out the work agreed upon with quality spare parts.*
5.
We delivered the equipment.
The final inspection and the performance test are carried out.
We work with teams from all brands.
*Currently, service is provided in-person at our headquarters and we do not perform repairs at home.

SEMILLERO JOVEN APRENDIZ
Semillero Joven Aprendiz es un programa gratuito de formación para personas con discapacidad de 18 años en adelante.
Es un espacio de aprendizaje práctico donde los participantes pueden desarrollar nuevas habilidades, conocer procesos productivos y compartir una experiencia de formación en un entorno colaborativo.
